- HD & 4K live streams
- 72-hour VOD replays
- 16-day surf forecast
WaveHub 2.0 is the biggest upgrade since we launched a year ago.
When we launched WaveHub the idea was simple: give surfers a way to check the ocean in real time and watch their wave if they surfed in front of the camera. Live cameras with enough quality to know if it's worth getting off the couch and driving to the beach.
WaveHub 2.0 is a completely different story. Not a minor update — a serious leap forward.
HD & 4K Live Streams
Every camera on WaveHub now broadcasts in HD by default and also in 4K.
WaveHub cameras automatically adjust to the best peak on the beach, adapting to high and low surf to maximize coverage area and zoom for the highest possible image quality.
Gone are the blurry feeds where you're squinting trying to figure out what you're looking at. Now you can read wave faces, spot surfers in the lineup, and judge conditions as if you're standing on the cliff.
72-Hour VOD Replays
Caught the wave of your life today at a beach with a WaveHub camera? Now you can download your wave in 4K quality that lets you zoom in without losing detail.
Asked someone who just got out of the session and they told you: "Dude, you have no idea how perfect it was!"... Now you can verify that. Missed the dawn session? The swell peaked while you were stuck at work? No problem. Now you can see what you missed.
Every camera now stores 72 hours of footage in HD and 4K, letting you go back to any moment in the last three days.
How It Works
- Open any camera and tap VOD
- Pick a date and time from the timeline
- The player jumps straight there. No waiting. No hunting.
The timeline is segmented by hour and can be zoomed in to make scrubbing and searching easier.
What You Can Do With VOD
- Scout conditions — want to check if there was morning wind? See if the ocean worked better at high tide or only when it dropped? Check if the tide really affected the surf?
- Watch yourself — caught a wave you want to see again? Now you can. Head to VOD and find your wave.
16-Day Surf Forecast
The hardest thing about surfing is planning ahead. With unpredictable weather and the specific conditions needed for the waves we love, it's never easy. Most forecasts give you 7–10 days. WaveHub developed an algorithm tailored to Israel's coastline and local conditions — and on top of that, you get a forecast that goes 16 days out.
Our forecast engine pulls data from multiple global models and combines them into a single, detailed surf forecast that extends more than two weeks ahead.
What's Inside
- Wave height and period — hour by hour, 16 full days.
- Wind — speed and direction, so you know exactly when the right window opens to get in the water.
- Swell direction and strength — understand which beaches will fire based on the angle and period.
- Tides — displayed right on the forecast, plus a dedicated and detailed astronomy page.
- Star rating — each day gets a simple 1–5 score, so you can plan your week without being a meteorologist.
- Hourly breakdown — drill into any day to see hour by hour how conditions will evolve, complete with animations.
Whether you're planning a weekend trip or looking for a good excuse for a sick day, knowing what's coming in a week or two is a game-changer. Plan ahead, skip the flat spells, and catch the waves you love.
WaveHub 2.0 is live. Enjoy.
